Real Mane is returning to Kenya after a long time away, marking the beginning of a powerful and meaningful journey focused on youth inspiration, storytelling, music, and media production.
Starting May 6, Real Mane will arrive in Nairobi, where he will be warmly welcomed by friends, collaborators, and content creator Fleur, who will help document the beginning of this impactful visit. This arrival will set the tone for a journey filled with creativity, connection, and community engagement across Kenya.
Throughout the program, Real Mane will travel through Nairobi, Kakuma Refugee Camp, Lodwar, and Mombasa, using his platform as a changemaker, influencer, artist, and storyteller to motivate young people and amplify voices from different communities.
A Mission to Inspire the Youth
The main goal of this visit is to connect with young people through real stories, music, media, and creative conversations. Real Mane will meet with students, musicians, refugees, artists, and local creatives to share experiences, listen to their journeys, and encourage them to believe in their dreams.
Through school visits, studio sessions, interviews, live shows, and community meetings, this program will create opportunities for young people to be seen, heard, and inspired.
Program Highlights
During the first week in Nairobi, Real Mane will focus on meetings, research, and building relationships with local stakeholders, creatives, and community leaders. This phase will help him better understand the local environment and prepare for the activities ahead.
In the second week, the focus will shift to studio planning, production setup, school visits, and connecting with musicians. This will help build a creative space where artists and young people can come together to share their talents and stories.
By the third week, Real Mane will launch the first live show in Nairobi, featuring interviews with musicians, storytelling sessions, and conversations with refugees at TMP Studio. This will officially begin the creative storytelling platform that highlights real-life journeys and talent.
The fourth week will take the program to Kakuma Refugee Camp and Lodwar, where Real Mane will host shows, meet with Turkana artists, conduct interviews, and collaborate with Kakuma Media Studio. This part of the journey will focus on expanding outreach and strengthening regional creative partnerships.
The final week will continue in Mombasa, where Real Mane will connect with local musicians, host a show, conduct interviews, and create one-on-one studio recording sessions. This will bring the program to a powerful close through coastal engagement and final content production.
Expected Impact
Real Mane’s visit is expected to inspire and empower young people across Kenya by giving them a platform to share their voices, talents, and stories. The program will also help strengthen creative industries, support talent development, and promote unity between refugee and host communities.
Through music, media, and storytelling, this journey is more than a visit — it is a movement of hope, creativity, and cultural exchange.
Real Mane’s return to Kenya represents a new chapter of connection, purpose, and impact. From Nairobi to Kakuma, Lodwar, and Mombasa, this program will shine a light on the power of young people, the importance of storytelling, and the beauty of using creativity to bring communities together.
